My name is Müge Çetinkaya. 

I'm a design lead working where things are complex and the stakes are high.

For eight years I've designed services and tools for expert users who have little time and no tolerance for mistakes, from a public investment bank's partner platform to a credit insurer's risk assessment tool. Today I lead a team of up to 4 designers on a public bank's platform.

I lead the way I like to work: find the root cause before designing the fix, and bring evidence into the room, not opinions. I've run DesignOps for a 40-person design team, trained designers as a certified trainer, and facilitated workshops across more than 20 projects. I also bring AI into design teams, with a critical eye for where it belongs in regulated work.

Before design, I spent nine years in business, including managing a team as a Country Manager. It taught me to speak the language of the people I design with.

What I love about design is its power to simplify complexity and make things work better, for users, businesses, teams, and the planet.

I work in English, French and Turkish. Outside work, I draw, sew, make digital art and play the piano.
